Re: Sad news....long time forum poster Ken Clevenger passed away

I am very sad to hear this news. This place just isn't the same without him around (and many others who we don't hear from anymore). I was lucky I went to the last Boxerworks rally that was ever held at Ken's in May 2013. As ZM says, the parade only goes in one direction. But why does it have to be ...

Re: High number of views for newish posts

I would prefer not to lock it down, that's for sure. But if we keep having denial of service problems then might have to do so. We'll leave it as is for now. And I will investigate Cloudflare, but of course it would cost more money. Also if the forum had to be moved to a new host to support using Cl...

Re: High number of views for newish posts

Thanks for that ME, I had not noticed. Maybe we will have to require a login to access all forums then. For a long time it's been that one can view the post '70 Airheads and other forums without having to login. But due to the denial of service problems we've been having, perhaps we will have to loc...

Re: Forum Access?

Yes Kurt, the forum has been struggling for a while due to too many connections at the same time. We are only allowed 30 connections at the same time, which is really not that many. Seems that we may have a denial of service attack randomly hitting boxerworks. Not sure what to do about it. I contact...

Very sorry to hear it. RIP Snowbum.

Life is short indeed, sure is easy to forget to try and enjoy it while we are here and not let the little stuff get you down.

Re: Duanes website

So much for that theory then. Might try clearing your internet cache, and cookies for w6rec.com then, refresh page, try it again. Here's a site with some more suggestions on this problem: How To Fix the MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_OCSP_RESPONSE_FOR_CERT_MISSING Error Thanks SiG. I just checked and Firefox is...

Re: Duanes website

Steve (and Rob) do you have the latest version of Firefox installed? This may be due to a bug in Firefox where it is not properly handling "OCSP Stapling" (a method of optimizing the validation of an SSL certificate). I would make sure you have the latest version of Firefox running. Firefo...

It really does look like a brand new bike! How many times has it rolled over now?

Re: Login

Sorry to hear you are having login issues Jeff. Are you using an iPhone? If so, are you using Safari? It seems to be pretty picky and might not always log you back in, depending on how long it's been since you visited, from what I've been reading on the web. If this is the case you might try Chrome ...
