The motobatt arrived yesterday. It came with a "free" projecta maintenance charger. So far, so good.

I'm beginning to think there's been something missing inside, as there seems to be no "mechanism" to carry current from the common terminal to the light circuits. Was tempted to wire in a mini DPDT switch to get her running....but came across a better looking switch from a working bike in ...

I might be simplifying the issue here, and have just been through a similar experience. I was guided by the mantra "spark;fuel;compression" when awakening an old bike. If you're getting some spark, and running with aerostart, check your plugs. Any wetness? There should be if you're leaning...
