Airbear, I am just getting my '74 R90/6 going and could really use a good, clear diagram as the one in the Haynes manual is almost indecipherable.

I'm putting together a basket case R90/6 ( first BMW ) and it looks to me like I will need some spacers between the fork brace and the front fender. Is this normal?

I just realized that the key that I got with my '74 R90/6 doesn't turn the lock. Are key codes available?

My plan is to just get it running and assess it's condition from there. not using the kick start as it feels really weird. I have changed all the oils and realigned the swing arm.
