Haha they do stand out eh, green sport shoes, gumboots got a split in em. Ahh that would probably make sense seeing as it is an old police bike, as you say something to do with radio or some such. Good to know I don't need though, appreciate the feedback gents!

Capacitor Between Diode output and Battery
Hi just wondering if anyone knows the reason for this little unit between the positive feed out of diode and before the connection back to feed battery? I read somewhere that it helps smooth out power delivery to battery is this the case or does it in some way regulate overcharge? Also next question...

cnc'd rotor mounts
Hi all i have designed some new rotor mounts /hats for a substitute to a 320mm disc. Just wondering if anyone had any ideas around using Aluminum 6061 vs 7075 for this and if anyone had cheap / good place to get done in the NZ / Aus area

Excellent thanks guys, yeah i do have a manual however it is the BMW service manual and not as detailed. 20Nm torque on the Clutch bolts yeah?

Clutch Plate / Slip Disc
Fairly simple Q here however Im don't have a manual and wanting to reinstall clutch on R80 RT 1986. What is the correct orientation of the Slip Disc and what is the correct torque for clutch Bolts?
