Advice needed: New oil pump, or stick with old one?
Hi All, I've started into my BMW R80/7 rebuild - and so far so good. I'm in the process of putting in the oil pump and it looks like it's had better days. The bike has almost 70k miles on it, so this pump has spun a few times in it's day. Question is, does it need replacing? The parts are not cheap ...

Hi All, My BMW R80/7 has notoriously poor braking (single front rotor configuration). I've been reading about all of the options on here to improve this with regard to changing master cylinder, and adding second rotor form R100 front end fork. Hi all, I'm restoring a '79 R80/7 (65k miles) and took the rear wheel and swing arm apart today to see how much work is needed.
