CD 1.0 Archive (1973-1990) partnumber 01 99 0 022 037 and CD 1.1 (1990-2000) partnumber 01 99 0 022 038.
This 2 CD's contain all the SI's from all the constructiongroups from all the BMW motorcycles between 1973 and 2000.

Don't want to spoil anyones thunder but just about everything you would ever want (except service bulletins) on aveyr model up to 2000 (I believe) is available for free download here... https://www.bmwgroup-classic.com/en/history/historic-modeloverview.html. In 2000 there were 2 CD's with all the Service Informations available.
CD 1.0 Archive (1973-1990) partnumber 01 99 0 022 037 and CD 1.1 (1990-2000) partnumber 01 99 0 022 038.
I don't know if they are still available.

About the "police version" regulator: in the 70ties, when those BMW's were developped, the alternator was sufficient for starting and riding. And in case of....... there was also kickstarter. The lights were only on during night. In the 80ties, from 1984 on, we (in Europe) were obliged to ...
