Well after meticulously tearing the old r65 down I have rulled out everything but the transmission. My best "not a transmission expert" guess is a failure with the input shaft spring. Still runs great, but I can't throttle down at all without losing all power to wheels. Shifts much smoothe...

Ok, finally got it all apart and here is my update First, the clutch cable is adjusted and working fine. The splines on the transmission and the clutch are in perfect condition. No obvious trans/engine oil seepage or leaking, also the clutch friction plate itself looks totally appropriate for mileag...

I surely hope not, but I mean I believe it's possible that there is transmission failure. However, a few things point me to clutch still.
