Hey Steve
No it’s not #13 and 14 that’s the cover that goes over the fork legs and the screw that holds it in. I’ve stuck a photo on my orig post and it’s the collar that’s UNDERNEATH where my finger is pointing.

I’m an Idiot - R65LS turn signal collar problem
Hi all I’ve been an absolute eejit and lost both the collars that join the two parts of the cable carrying tube that holds the front turn signals together. Basically after 3 years of searching I have reinstated the original fairing unit. Whilst waiting for fitment I rode the bike with the indicators...

Re: R65LS - idle rising when ridden
Idle screws were about 1/4 turn out, now 1/2 turn. Would it have been lean at 1/4 ? Than the idle screws. They are backed off full, they don’t even touch the plates. I’ve then wound them in so they are just touching the plates and it all seems great. I’ll try and take it on a run tomorrow and see i...

Re: R65LS - idle rising when ridden
There was me thinking that would be the last stupid question. How wrong I was. Idle screws were about 1/4 turn out, now 1/2 turn. Would it have been lean at 1/4 ? Than the idle screws. They are backed off full, they don’t even touch the plates. I’ve then wound them in so they are just touching the p...

Re: R65LS - idle rising when ridden
Super helpful !!! Last (stupid) question. Do I reset all the screws while the engine is running or when it’s stopped ? Thanks.

Re: R65LS - idle rising when ridden
Thanks Steve Yeah, so those jets were clear when I blew through them with brake cleaner. Back onto the earlier point. I take the bike out (it’s now riding perfectly by the way except the high idle when it’s really warm) and get it up to temp. I then drop the idle mix screw to 1/2 turn out and the th...

Re: R65LS - idle rising when ridden
Thanks Barry.
Just to double check, the mixture screw is the one under the body next to the vacuum port and the throttle screws are on the top with the cable going into it ? Is that correct ?

R65LS - idle rising when ridden
Hi all Newbie here, thanks for having me. I’m having issues with my R65LS. I have rebuilt the carbs a year ago fully with all new parts and towards the end of last year put new floats, float pins and float needles with gaskets to solve a leaky float bowl. I did both of them at this time. Recently, I...
