Re: '73 R75/5 SWB. No Charge Light. No Crank. Help!
Well... I was hoping for a bit more info, but I think I have it fixed. I tested the rotor again this time on the bench. It would Ohm fine and then not when I turned it to see what would happen if I rotated it 180 degrees. Repeated this test a few times and finally decided it was a bad rotor. Went do...

'73 R75/5 SWB. No Charge Light. No Crank. Help!
As the tile says, my '73 SWB is having the issue of no charge light and no cranking. I did do some research on this and checked the likely suspects. The rotor is normally the issue. Re: R75/5 Fork Oil Level and Amount??
Thanks for the replies. I read the link, so I think I will pour in the measured amount for the drain and refill and then do the level check and see where I'm at.
Thanks again,

R75/5 Fork Oil Level and Amount??
The Clymer and (IIRR) Chilton manuals state an amount of oil to use per leg. I bought new springs and the instructions say to do what the manual says for either quantity or level, but it has a recommendation for the oil level. I have always used the quantity, but maybe it would be better to use the ...

Shell should be black and the upper left light should blink with turn signals. Tank and both fenders should match.

Re: '73 R75/5 LWB Rocker End Play Question?
Thanks again for the info. I had read about a service tool for setting the blocks.
I plan to get the bike out again today, I'll post if the .0015" did any good.

Re: '73 R75/5 LWB Rocker End Play Question?
GSPD, thank you very much for that info. Some I knew and some was enlightening!! I pulled the heads and barrels on my SWB manny manny moons ago to replace the pushrod to block seals and base seals and read up and used the clamp method to set the "blocks" and torque. So, by what your writin...

Re: '73 R75/5 LWB Rocker End Play Question?
My adjustment may have helped. Traffic was a bit bad today, so paying more attention to it than the engine. I do think the noise was less if not gone. Will test again!
