Wobbly, 1.No play-15000 miles since new,but one of my R80s had this issue and leak.Probably just old age -30 years. 2.Used BMW gear oil non syn since new,have a case. 3.Got the BMW part from a MB/BMW car dealer -$30 ,the real deal.Have compound similar to P80. 4.Not leaking there,YET ! 5.My brother ...

Found no one in the States with those trw Lucas brake shoes (MCS941),found them on Ebay from Europe.Right now it looks like a place in France has best price,$40 with free ship. As far as seal R & R,I will attempt repair without dissassembling cover.Manual states drive seal until it bottoms out,s...

1. What Metzler tires work best with these bikes? The rear Metz. on my bike is NLA.
2. Do all modern cycle shops have the ability to change tire on rear wheel and balance assembly (flange mount ,no bearings) without inflicting damage

This is not a production GSPD,this is an earlier bike with a kit,makes a difference gents.Probably few complete bikes were produced 1985ish(anyone have a figure?)
