Thanks, Stephen, for your reply. I will put your advice to work. In the meantime, I have been putting the long excess belt through the D-ring. This seems to keep the belt in place when at speed.

Does anybody know why the belt of the Harro Tank bag that fastens around the steering column is excessively long? It seems unusual and inefficient. I have put it on my '75 R90/6 and the belt runs down the entire length of the bag. It sure seems odd.
