Re: R75/5 on tour
Great report Pete I was especially interested in the Ridge stuff. I am one of the mine regulators that administer the claims up there. On the whole we have a good relationship with the miners and I love the diversity of humans that I meet. Eastern Europeans are the order of the day and plenty of sto...

Re: 2014 Autumn in Oz.
Looks like great times guys. Sorry to miss but not possible this time. Obey road at dusk is a killer Mal. I did that commute 3 times a week for 12 months so well aware of those little Marsupials. Steve D. Appreciate your dismay at not getting a call but a reunion of four high school mates and two da...

Re: 2014 Autumn in Oz.
Yeah Mal. What's going on with the tube?
Just got back from lovely Melbourne after watching my darlings Blues get thrashed by the Pies. Just realised how many beautiful women Melbourne has.
I love the look of the Conti Mal. Maybe next time for me.

Re: Good day for a ride?
Yes agree Autumn is made for riding. Orange is looking a picture so making the most of weather. I'm glad your riding skills pulled you through that hairy moment Mal. I need my riding buddy to stay healthy for next rip. Enjoy Geehi lads.

Re: 2014 Autumn in Oz.
Spring/Summer/Autumn. Tassie is beautiful all seasons but for riding weather maybe a Feb/March/April. Must have a look at average rainfalls but I kinda like Autumn with the leaves turning etc.

Re: 2014 Autumn in Oz.
I'm out for this trip but I want to put a suggestion forward for future thought. What about a Tassie trip say for a week or so. Camping and the odd pub stay. BTW That sort of thing was a pipe dream for me previously but with my new single status the world is my oyster. Something to think about.

Re: quick run to Rylstone and Dunns Swamp
One of the best rides for a while Mal. Everything was perfect (apart from your crotch). No sleep is standard when partying with my brothers. Still getting over my mixed grill. I forgot to tell you that flock of sheep you scared coming out of Dunn Swamp nearly cleaned me up. Too late to brake, I just...

Re: 2014 Autumn in Oz.
Hi folks Yes I've been out of the loop as well. Mal did remind me of the mountains run but not this time. Heading down to Melbourne for the Pies/Blues clash at the G on the 2nd of May and life pretty busy after that. Talked with Mal re: a ride up north NSW in winter to get away from Orange cold. Guz...

Re: Spring buds run - Oz Boxerworks
Charlie It’s a result of my risk adverse nature that I didn’t want to have a crack at an overhall of the old girl in the midst of a gondwanan rainforest; but maybe if Geoff was there I may have had a little more confidence in opening the toolbox. The bike behaved well on the way back to Orange and I...

Re: replacement mufflers
Don't know much about the Emgo/5s Steve but I really love my Stay in Tunes. I think you mentioned they have a Sports and Cruise version. I have the Cruise with extra baffles so much easier on the ears after a long ride.SteveD wrote:Can anyone tell me about Emgo /5 cigar mufflers? Quality etc...Thanks.
