I remember speaking to Trish at the local independent BMW shop many years ago about my concerns about the engine noises. She reached under the counter and gave (maybe sold) me a set of ear plugs. I recon she saved me hundreds of dollars that day. I now use custom moulded plugs ... makes the ride eas...

Mine's an 83 ST with a 100 GS tank, white . Not too neat but OK. Sorry we didn't get to meet up. I was on the GSPD Classic. Hoping to get there. Most likely on the RS (pearl white).

A visit to Michael up the road at Lillian Rock will have that sorted. She'llbe to the bat phone!

Then there is a classic bike show on Sunday at Canungra Showground, just up the road.

A mate kept cutting back the screen until he only had about 2 inches left. Still wasn't happy with the buffeting. Ended up removing the fairing. Decided he was a naked-bike rider.

Fitted the LED tail light to my R100GSPD obtained through John aka 'Motorally Rider' a few months ago - still going fine.

Previously blown bulbs were a regular event due to vibration. Time will tell.

Riding buddies have commented on how bright it is.
