I know of NO kit that is available.. however I have though of installing a lanyard with a pully to hold the landing stick in place... kindof a parking brake idea.
I always leave the bike in gear when I cock the unit.

Re: rear shocks on '78 R100 bottomed out...
benny... sounds like an odd situation,if the shocks are bottomed... I am assuming the springs are full compressed, broken or you have a set of air (numatics)with a big rubber boot that have gone flat. It might help to post a pic of your situation.. The stock air head has 13.5" eye to eye shocks...

Re: R100 Gearbox
FM The staarting point is to set the rear actuator lever 90 degrees to the back of the tranny.. and is to be adjusted so that the distance from the cable end to the boss on the tranny case is exactly 201mm. The hand lever should be adjusted to have about 5mm of free play. Check this out, it my be he...

Yeah, like a blizzard coming in.. maybe they are viro-bots on the look out.. MAYBE, it the Chinese Govmt... checken out our site. Not only that the side bar and curser is nutty. Oiling cylinder.. build up of carbon.. it points to checking the roundness of the cylinder, checking the rings for breaks,...

Re: Sequential shifting question for the cycle racers...
Of course, you have to spin the engine up to match when dropping down on the tranny. It is not science to match these two gears to allow the gears to MESH.. without a crash.. but it takes practice and experience. (still never easy or without mechanical stress) So the question is how many times can y...

Re: Sequential shifting question for the cycle racers...
My thought is: You can speed shift these trannys for a while..up maybe a long time..but down is brutal and crashing with force. My thrust bearing failed in my 75/7 and I was forced to crash shift. Matching speed and gear fairly smooth going up.. but going down was brutal... I would not recommend it ...

Re: Forks. How to undo those top nuts???
I think I would try to loosen the outer then the inner... in that order.
Use a box wrench and a hard rubber mallet. Whack! \\
Caution!
I have never seen one of those before.
My dad always said, if they put it on... it will come off. He was always right.

Re: Mikuni
Hello, new to the board. I found this thread interesting.. I installed mikuni 32's on my 75/7 when I redid it last winter. Starts better, runs faster, seems crisper and it does burn more gas. There is not a huge difference unless your wicking the throttle hard. I rode from Bellingham to Denver over ...
