Re: /6 Questions

At the risk of a thread hijack (as well as dredging a topic previously well-covered elsewhere), the design fault of the twin Ate caliper setup is the m/c, due its diameter being too big to give a reasonable ratio IMHO. Changing the m/c for a smaller diameter item, or better still, moving to a later...

Found this on eBay.

Wondered if anyone could tell me if it'd fit my R60/6 I know the ad says /6 /7, but hey, it's eBay!

Re: Gentlemen, check your balls. and ladies too.

Gidday Lasse, the parts are cheap enough to get from BMW. But find out if you need them first. As I'm ordering other parts I might as well get these too. Re: Gentlemen, check your balls. and ladies too.

Doing my first oil change on the new to me R60/6 and I'd like to poke around the relief spring etc.

I tried looking at motobins and using the two P/Ns listed for springs at motobins, but that yielded nothing.

I'd prefer a location in europe.

Re: '74 R90S crankshaft in R60/5 engine case ?

Sounds good, if I can just get the power between 2500 and 5000 RPM I am good :)

Do you know if I have to change my exhaust system?

I am having abit of the same "issue" Running an R60/6 which I at some point would like to beef up to a 900cc.

Would the R60 cam work good on a 900 kit?

How was the powdercoating to work with when lacing the rims? Did you have to drill all the holes?
