Thank you all for the links to the ratcheting gas cap removal/repair.
This crowd flat gets after it.
Many thanks.
John.

March 2000 issue of Airhead.
Does anybody have a March 2000 issue of Airmail?
It has an Oak Okleshen Airtech article, with drawing, about stuck fuel tank filler caps.
Gotta have it.
$ no problem.
Thank you.

Re: R100RT gas tank filler cap issue.
Thanks Tim.
I'll give that a try.
The male and female halves, including the gasket, rotate together when I unscrew the cap. My gorilla-grip assistant can stop the gasket from rotating but the cap still does not unscrew.
Time to use brute force.

R100RT gas tank filler cap issue.
Good morning all.
I have started a restoration on a '79 R100RT.
The gas tank filler cap and its threaded tank attachment rotate together when I try to remove the cap.
Does anybody know of a non-invasive remedy?
Thank you.
John
