This is for the discussion of Motorcycling. The art, the science, the theory of all things related to our favorite sport... riding motorcycles.

Brad, if you come there will be a rally. As to wheels, there is always a chance but decent airheads are pretty hard to find at a bargain price here. Lots of other bikes would be available. Perhaps google "motorcycle sales Australia" and check prices.
If there isn't a rally Brad, we make one. I just counted 14 'Oz Boxerworks gatherings' in my photos. Plus the annual Alpine Rally, where several of us have drunk beer together.
We drink beer everywhere we go, come to think of it.

I ride airheads at home - I would probably be looking for a soul-less Japanese bike with multiple cylinders and power.

I have not sold this idea to Colleen (wife) who probably wouldn't make the trip nor approve, so its a very long ways from a sure thing, but I will keep looking. January/February weather ain't great in Texas - 2016??

January/February could be very hot and humid, depending on which part of the island you go to.

Memories are vague but I'm pretty sure Nimbin has been where it should be every time I've visited, at any time of year. Definitely a special place ...

Having a reliable rule for business hours in obviously important. My hat is off to them. I was wondering what time I should schedule my flight and now it is clear.
Ask the Indians what happens when you don't control immigration.

The first weekend in May is the HIGHlight of the year. Google Nimbin Mardi Grass to find out what I mean. I was told at the AGM that this is the most popular festival in the world?!?!,maybe the speaker was stoned. I certainly do enjoy being involved, although it's not everyones cup of tea.

Gday fellas,

I have just planned a run to Tasmania and want to see if I can link it with our Autumn get together, or else just a quick catch-up with any of you mexicans.

Plan on leaving here Thursday 26 March and spend a couple of days getting to Melbourne (avoiding the boring highways as much as possible) by Saturday 28th to meet up with Jo who will fly in. Then ferry to Tasmania and spend the week touring about, Jo will fly home from Hobart. I will start the return run Easter Saturday or Sunday but may take that week off if I can think of some touring to do.

If our boxerworks get together is later in April or May that's OK too it would be good to know and I will save some leave days.

cheers
Mal

PS I managed a 1000km run to Inverell and back over Xmas. It was hot weather but still a very enjoyable run and the old bike ran like a top.
