G'day fellas , I've been off line with a crashed hard drive for the last week ...so now I'm back .... but with a bit of bad news . I've done something nasty to my right hand , an inflamed tendon sheath according the doctor .It's fine if I don't use my hand or dose myself up on Neurophen ,either way I can't ride Tilly at the moment , even 20 minutes and it canes .............so ,I won't be at Guyra , which is a serious piss off as I was really looking forward to it .The way it is a the moment i very much doubt it will be right in a week . BUGGER !!

I'll keep you company here and look at the photos !

Sad to hear the news, Peter. If Guyra isn't too far from you, why don't you take a 4 wheeled vehicle? At least you'll get the chance to meet up with some of the guys and I'm sure you'll get the hang of drinking and gesticulating emphatically with your left hand in no time.

I'll certainly be on my biketo Guyra. If you can't ride the bike I reckon you should drive down Sibbo. I agree with Charlie about using only one hand to gesture. You just won't be able to hold 2 beers at once.

In fact, the beer holding position of the hand is neutral, and is often the position damaged hands are splinted into a resting position for healing. It's the elbow that gets the exercise!
