The bodies appear like they are OK. Just lots of gunk/goo in them. Especially in the float area. I hope all the small passages can get unclogged eventually. The atomizer and other screws/jets/needles will probably need to be replaced.2valve wrote:How is the bore of the Dellorto body itself
To be honest , i thought that the ultrasonic cleaners would be very gentle on parts. I have used my parts washer to clean a very old rifle that looks like it hasn't been cleaned properly since it left the factory in the very early 1900's.jagarra wrote:Be careful how long you leave the carburetor body in your ultrasonic cleaner. When I did the carburetor on one of my cars using just dish soap and water for an extended period it took the finish off the body. I have had it take Parkerizing off firearm parts.
