This tranny has a felt, and not a rubber boot to prevent oil leaks?

I reckon the tranny is leaking at the clutch push rod.

The felt (fiche part number 2) is on the outboard side of the rod, inboard of the plunger. There is also a seal on the outboard side of the plunger followed by the rubber boot. The felt doesn't really seal the oil. It's more like a dampener for the rod to the plunger. The seal (gasket ring part number 21 52 1020109) does the job.
