Gidday fellas,

I got the only blue one available in OZ..... Red clashes with the pool and I couldn't have that :o

And yes I just drilled some holes in the checker plate floor on each side where I thought it would hold well and got some good bike tie-downs, works a treat and no eye bolts for me and it is quite stable when fully raised...

I always have the safety bar close by and ready to use...

They are a good unit, they have there limits BUT PLEASE clear the floor around you when you roll in on or off so that you don't trip and over balance or lose your footing..

I have now made up a little bottle jack the sits under the centre cross bar of the bike to raise the rear wheel and I release the rear tie-downs to extend them as the bike goes up but when I do this I make sure I have another set of tie-downs on the front....
Take your time Steve to get the feel of it.....Bargain!!
Cheers, Grant

I bought the better of the Harbor Freight lifts by accident but I am very glad I did. I have nothing bad to say about the lift and one of my bikes is always parked on it using the front wheel clamp only. I only use straps when I am working on something.

It took up too much room so I modified my floor a little and sawed eight inches off the legs of my stool.
Its air operated and I ran the foot control seen in the first picture under the deck to about where the hammer is sitting in the last picture.
