R90s pistons source

Post by RickR90s »

Hello all, well after 130k miles, I'm due for new pistons in the old girl. New rings aren't stopping the excessive oil consumption so was wondering if I can still obtain new R90s pistons, say 1st over? (the cylinders are slightly out of spec so I should have known this before reassembling :(

I heard that dealer's are a bit on the high side so queried around and found a company called K&S that makes exact replacements. But don't know how to contact or if they have retailers.

Would appreciate your advice please.

thanks,

+1. They ship pretty fast too. Cheaper, lighter, stronger, better.

thanks guys. sounds like I need to do some disassembly first to see if I go 1st over, 2nd over, etc.
