Alternate Forum

Is the 'Alternate' forum the new normal forum? Is seems that this has been in existence for quite a while......
Just sayin'.....

I think no one is listening on that one. I posted the "web mistress" several times and nothing. They put up a WP or Joomla! site (cant recall now - think its a WP site they paid for a Java based template for...) I'd say, just be happy there is a forum at all... I offered a number of times to help; even provided a favicon for the forum from their logo - no response.

You can lead a horse to water, but not force it to drink. I am unsure that is the case here, but as well, it seems unlikely posting something will do anything or reap any answers. Then again, maybe it is simply me and my evil reputation as a giant asshole?

Well, Matt did talk about having been very busy lately, discussing BMW gatherings that he hopes to make. My take is that, with a working forum in place, alternate or not alternate, he feels free to pursue more fun and/or profitable activities.

I too am not bothered. What has bothered me greatly in the past is the prospect of no Boxerworks forum at all.

Matt has some legal proceedings happening that are hopefully coming to a close soon.

Lets allow him to deal with those issues before he gets re-involved here.

Here is still here, and that's good.

Every morning when I awake, I am thankful for that simple fact.

Matt has sufferend personal loss and legal problems. I, for one, wish to stay out of his way in making a profit to support himself and this forum.

Thanks Matt.

Thanks Matt.
That's fine and I'm all about that as well. I've never spoken to Matt personally, someone of opposite gender, said to be the forum care-taker once replied to a thread I started regarding issues with the forum. The lack of response from this individual is all for which I can/and was commenting upon - I see now that person obviously is not relevant to the discussion. My apologies and thanks to Matt for keeping any forum at all operating.

That's a reasonable take. She was the one who let us know about the move to the temporary forum in the first place, but she is a computer person, not a Boxer person. Matt is the heart of keeping the forum alive. The person "of opposite gender" is a web technician.
