Just noticed this morning, on my R90/6 (all engine/ignition setup is stock) that when I shift, my RPM "hangs up"
I dump the throttle and pull the clutch, but the RPM stays where it is.
Not a problem with it dropping at idle, it just doesn't drop as instantly as it was when shifting.
Tried to pay attention and it might seem to get worse as the engine heated up.
Anywhere to look first??

Re: Slight delay in RPM drop when shifting
Timing correct ?
An overabundance of fuel in the fuel / air mix ?
Could be caused by dirty or blocked air filter, malfunctioning choke / enrichner,
blocked air passage, rich tuning, idle adjustment before the engine is to operating temp ...

Re: Slight delay in RPM drop when shifting
Thanks Vanzen, I will check the timing and make sure my chokes are returning all the way and haven't gone out of adjustment.
It returns to idle just fine, I only notice anything when shifting up as I tend to blip the throttle on down shifts.
New airfilter this winter...
I wanted to make sure this wasn't something with a single known cause before I just start checking all you mentioned.
