LED Instrument bulb replacements
Has anyone here installed these? I'd like replace the existing incandescent bulbs, but am concerned about the minimal current drain of LEDs and wonder about that effect on the charging system.

Yep. Don't do the edit: instrument panel flashers or the GEN light though. Do neutral, high beam, oil.old R90 guy wrote:Has anyone here installed these? No problem, easy fit.

Re: LED Instrument bulb replacements
You can add the LED to the signel light with a timed flasher Like I did to my /5 system, eventully I will add the single light for better effect
with my system modfied for 14.2 volts I found I can use lower fuse amp protection and still have a happy battery
water use is about 1 oz a month from regular use
with the chargeing system I have replaced the light with a 330 watt resister and rely on the LED light that changes color for the amount of charge
So in Effect........ neuteral, oil, turn, highbeam and LED charge condition can be done
