I noticed that too, maybe a old link. As mentioned above, I wrote him earlier to remove it from his site.
Be my guest and yall write him too.
:o
I just wrote to him and told him how nice you are, Randy, and if he would just put up credit, you would probably let him put it back on his index page. So if you hear something like that...

BMWScotter is a decent guy as far as I know...never met him. He's in San Diego and is friends with another Airhead owner who is himself a very nice guy. BMWScotter participates on the ABC Airlist and seems to be respectful of people's published information, based upon some past comments and questions. That said, I have no idea what lead him to do this. I just might write the other guy who I'm on good terms with.

Update: As of 0615 this morning, the original link doesn't work anymore...looks like the page has been pulled down.

He wrote me saying the page was a 'non-linked' on-line file back-up, one of about 17,000 files, and had "taken the page down". Those nasty Goggle bots get into everything, I guess. :)

So I go for a ride today and watch the tripmeter and odometer to see the relationship etc.
The trip is barely moving, perhaps 1/10km in 2-4km. The odo adds 1 or 2 in about 15 minutes.
I decide to just enjoy the ride for an hour or two and plan to attack the unit tomorrow ('sposed to rain and I have Randy's article).
WHAT!!! It starts working and works for the rest of my 2 hour ride :!: Diabolical airhead .
I'm thinking winter is soon enough :)
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

I've noticed this problem can come and go, like it slips for a while then grabs.
A rainy day would be perfect to do the repair.
