Boxerworks Forum rally dates set, y'all
I've made a posting on the Events board announcing the dates for the fall rally. They are Oct 13-16.
Heres the official post where I say a few more words:

Where are you? Ken's place is in SE Oklahoma, just across the border from Mena, Arkansas.Ron Baker wrote:Where is the rally at? I would like to go and get aquanted with you guy's. Don't know if that weekend is open yet, but maybe I can plan for it anyway

Rob, thanks for posting the map.
In order to whet your appetite, google "Talimena Scenic Drive" and then click on the you tube videos that will pop up. My place in Oklahoma is in the woods, though there is a neighbor or two visible. I am located 5 miles from the Talimena Scenic Drive.
Hope it works out for you--and us.

Ron, it would be good to meet you too. I say go ahead and plan for it. And if life's circumstances prove insurmountable, well, that's OK. There's no "penalty". The reason I like to know who is planning on coming is so I can estimate the food, snacks, soda, and beer requirements. Plus, and this is the greater reason, it is kind of fun anticipating who will be arriving.Ron Baker wrote:Where is the rally at? I would like to go and get aquanted with you guy's. Ken and Rob, Thanks for the info. I'm in mid Missouri about 6 1/2 hours from Mena. I used to go to CMA rallies in Hatfield, so am pretty familiar with the area (love Talimena). Do most people camp or motel it? October is a busy month at work for me, but I'll try to work it in. Thanks again

Ken has room for tent camping. There's a camp ground down the road from him (~1 mi.) that has cabins, usually full, with showers and all. We go there for showers (used to be $4.) When I went back in '07, most people camped in Ken's "yard."

How I wished I was living closer.........
Re: Boxerworks Forum rally dates set, y'all
I have a few more questions. Do wives come to the rally? How about porta Johns at Kens place? And will I be shunned if I ride my LT? My R75 is still in the rebuild process. Seems to be going slower than I'd like it to
Thanks, Ron
Thanks, Ron

Ron, just go. You will enjoy the nice group and you will be accepted no matter what you ride. I arrive in my Camry and haven't been thrown out just yet.
