Exactly right Tim - given the weather here in the UK (wet for 10 months of the year) leather bags would be hard work, but I'd dearly love a set of those. Bet they're pretty rare though..., and I'd need to buy a /5 SWB!

Not true, Wixom made brackets for short and long wheelbase model BMWs... and Guzzies too!

their British made.
I think you'll find they were made in the US. The only reference I can find suggests they were made somewhere in Illinois. I've seen very few in the UK.

they were made by Wixom Bros in California per the label on my set. another company made copys also
