Vince, the Bus Depot sells Hella horns with bracket for around $10, and aftermarket for $6: http://www.busdepot.com/details.jsp?par ... 111951113B That being said, are you sure it's the horn and not the switch?
Re: My /5 horn is dead, HELP!
Yes,
The wiring tested good all the way, I will go check that site now.
Thanks

How do you know that the horn is actually bad? Did you hook it up directly to a good battery?
Ask the Indians what happens when you don't control immigration.
Re: My /5 horn is dead, HELP!
I have not tried it on a battery (or a 12V power supply) but the wiring tests good to the horn and the horn has been "hit or miss" (working intermittently) since I got the bike.

Hit or miss still means nothing.Unclviny wrote:I have not tried it on a battery (or a 12V power supply) but the wiring tests good to the horn and the horn has been "hit or miss" (working intermittently) since I got the bike.

Hook up a battery to the horn. It doesn't get any easier than that.
Also, some horns have an adjustment screw on the back that can cure the intermittent woes if they are in fact the fault of the horn.

also, make sure horn wire from switch is not pinched anywhere along its travels to the horn itself...
