You have to load it to something like Photobucket first. Then put the link to that here.
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

You can also load it directly into a post, here on the forum.

When you are writing a reply, there will be a tab at the bottom of the frame called "Upload attachment".

Click on the tab and you will see a button called "Choose file".
Click on that and go to the folder on your computer with your image in it.
Select the image, then click the button that says "Add the file".

The click "Preview" before "Submit" to see if it worked.

Here is a screen print of what I am talking about. Click on it to see a larger version.

You will need to keep the image to a reasonable size in order for it all to be seen.
Or the reader can click on the picture to show the entire image.

This is what a REALLY large image looks like:

Your description was true with the old school forum. What Rob described has been true since not too long after we got the new forum.

And it seems to be a recent (last few months) development that when the picture is oversized, all one has to do is click on it to reveal the entire image.
True? Or am I just crazy (again)?

It's true and you're not crazy, Rob. Also, if your camera takes high resolution photos, the "upload attachment" link will tell you to make it smaller or it will not accept it. It's better to reduce the file size before you try. My Fuji Finepix is 6.3 megapixels, so I reduce them to 20% of original. Seems to work...

I'm pretty sure I have to put mine on photobucket to reduce them. For the original poster's information, if you go to photobucket, it is free and every time I post pics, it is a new adventure. The size they call "large" works on Boxerworks. That much, I do know. I think most folks catch on to this stuff faster than do I. He called out for "simple", so he may be in the same boat as me.

Chuey, when you right click on a photo in your computer, do you see "open with:" ? If so, try "paint" and there is a list on top of the paint page that includes "reduce size", try that, then "save changes".

I tried the free photo hosting sites but found them to be too much of a pain, and the format at PBase is so much more luxurious as well as easy to use, I don't mind paying a small annual fee for the privilege.
But then, when I die, all of my pictures will go away when my subscription money runs out, unlike Airhead's pictures that are still there to see after all this time. http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y22/r65/
