BMW ISDT video

Post by Deleted User 62 »

Matt posted this down in the Racing forum, but it doesn't seem to be getting many views. The first clip will give you an idea... (I want one!) http://www.historischesarchiv.bmw.de/1/ ... rgroup=irc

I can't get the video to run.
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

Don't click on the video, it starts by itself (at least for me...) the thumbnails on the right are only short clips from the full video on the left.

Interesting vid Tim, I expect a modern day GS to be about 6 times the weight of those bikes.........

Also interesting that there is really no modern day equivalent to those early bikes.

I'd be interested in all the modifications that were done. It's too bad the cameraman was into fast flybys and then zooming in on the engine... Don't you think the HP2 matches up, albeit on an entirely different plane? http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9 ... QeHouzI6jA

Those boys sure can ride ! I sent the link to Ontic who's doing a major job on modifying a g/s to fly .

I love the steam coming off the bikes as they come out of the creek .

Those bikes look like they'd be some real fun in the dirt. Can mine have a red shock spring?
