I'm always in the lookout for that perfect R90/6 with the dual disc brake conversion. Would be nice to get back into a real flywheel.

The R60 is a re-listing. IIRC he tried to sell it while the sun was still shining last late summer/early fall, priced about the same. Seems fair, just needs the right buyer.

I hate to say it, as it goes against local pride in our main product, but they must be smoking better stuff in the Islands than we get here to list a $400 project for $4,000 MINT.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.

Whatever he's smokin", it must cost a lot to buy!!! He might be trying to support his habit.

Shipping to the islands is around $1000, so that would probably kill the deal. I was looking at this bike for a friend and will pass your pictures on to him. Regarding what the elderly seller was asking for this bike, I don't think he was smoking anything, but sadly, dementia may be a factor.

I just saw an ad in a local bike magazine. Bikes shipped from US to Oz for $1,000, I'd think it would be cheaper to Hawaii.

I could sell you a full weight flywheel. I put a lightened one in my R90S. They said it would shift better. The transmission was rebuilt with no corners cut (The Beemer Shop, $1,500.00). It still shifts AWFULLY. I love the bike but the shifting is still the worst!

I wonder if your rebuilt trans just needs to break in?
