Would you buy my R100LT?

Post by Ross »

As some of you here know some of the trials I have had with my mongrel R100LT with R80 bottom end and all of its bits that have failed.

Would make a good spares bike or a restoration project. You get the short 100 engine with the stripped cylinder stud hole. Set of R80 barrels, pistons and heads. These would need some work.

The bike does not run as the bean can I think has failed. The Omega ignition that i fitted failed. Thats why it died.

See http://rossmz.blogspot.com.au/search/label/my%20BMW For what i have done etc over the years. Plus I have a spread sheet of everything i bought and did to the bike.

So who here would like to buy it?

I am asking $2500 you collect and or you pay the freight.

So, other than the electronics, the thing was ok before it became kaput?

Yeah the engine runs. She is just old and I got sick of throwing money at it.
