Front air forks

Greetings, Am very curious if anyone has ever changed their front forks to air. I saw a couple of simple conversion kits and was wondering if this made any sense or if it is just a worthless change Pros and cons ?

Yeah, I ran the cheap version for a year or so.
New seals and gaitors fixed it.

Ooh, and I refilled the oil.

Your present forks are somewhat "air forks" due to the air capacity above the oil. Changing the air volume changes the softness. Do that by changing the oil volume.

This was a popular feature (from both factory and aftermarket) 25 years ago or more. Now, much less so. Perhaps we learned something.

The only real advantage is the ability to make big changes very quickly. If you carry a large passenger around sometimes on your handlebars, I can see how it could be a really useful feature.
