My 1975 r90/6 just passed 60000 miles on the speedo and then decided to go to 00089 and stuck there for a while, than a day later it started operating again.
The trip meter went out on strike in sympathy...
Im off to France in a weeks time, so I'm looking to links to walk throughs for fixing this, ideally I would want to get the odometer back to 60089, but as a minimum would want to get the trip meter working. I think that there is a good write up on airheads, but I'm not a member
Thanks

Re: Speedo stuff
Can't help with the speedo fix Charles, but just think of the re-sale value of 89 k's on the clock.

Did it make a smiley face when it broke Chas?

That's what I used to go inside mine.
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.
