Moderators? What's going on?

A bunch of different topics have had posts today from angileena quoting a comment of mine, but making no comment of their own and posting it on topics where it makes no sense. Sometimes they show that I'm the originator, sometimes they don't. Here's an example:

My first hint was when he said "you westerners," as he lives at least a few hundred miles further west than Chuey.

What's going on here? I presume it's a spammer trying to rack up enough posts to trigger something, but I have no idea what.

It would seem a spammer may have slipped past the elaborate security precautions, they get more clever all the time. Or some mods get dumber, as the case may be.

"angileena" only has two posts so far, hardly "a bunch of different topics". An avalanche of spam will no doubt commence though unless quick action is taken.

I saw three. I think it was while I was at work where I am not allowed to log on. There may have been one in the Speakeasy.

Whoever it was, thanks for cleaning up the piles of dog do do.

At first I thought they were some sort of statement about stamping out internet spam, but then I found out that some European political wanna be (French?) had these made up (with his logo on the bottom) so that people walking on the beach would leave behind their support.

Spam quickly picked up the idea. I would imagine they are very popular in Hawaii.
