All these years, I've been paying top dollar for motorcycle tires for my motorcycle. Now it turns out, I could have just been using car tires. Much cheaper and last much longer, why the hell not? I'm tired of paying $400 every time I need tires for my MC, after only about 7K miles or so. What a rip! I will now be expecting to get at least 50,000 miles out of my MC tires.
I'm going to the "dark side".

Car tires on motorcycles actually have made sense to me in one circumstance, and ONLY one circumstance: hacks. Near as I can tell, the forces on a hack tire are about the same as on a car tire and very unlike the forces on a conventional motorcycle tire.

True, that. Interestingly, when a guy I know tried to get a Chang Jiang with a sidecar inspected here on the island, they required him to replace the sidecar specific tires that came with it to regular motorcycle tires... idiots!Major Softie wrote:Car tires on motorcycles actually have made sense to me in one circumstance, and ONLY one circumstance: hacks.
