Hrmph.....it shows a straight filter for my RS, not the hinged one. I dunno. Good
price though.

I'm not a fan of K&N air filters.

In my day they were junk. Use those silly air filters at your own risk. Not a single manufacturer uses foam and they all use micropore technology. There must be a reason.
Ask the Indians what happens when you don't control immigration.

I would NEVER run a K&N air filter on anything!
They DO flow more air but they do that by NOT FILTERING.

I have done a ton of air filter research and that is my conclusion.

They are great for racing but then you tear down those motors so often how good it filters dirt doesn't matter really...Might as well just run velocity stacks.

No way they don't provide more protection than an open or even screened velocity stack. I don't think they filter as well as a stock filter but it has to be much better than nothing.

Otherwise, what comes out when you wash them? Do velocity stacks need washing?
