Valve spring-no paint!
Valve spring-no paint!
'77 R100S doing some head work and I know the paint goes to the head. Seems to me that would indicate it is a progressive wound spring so installing it incorrectly will add mass to the valve and possibly result in float. For the life of me I can't see any tight coils on the one spring, the other had paint. I certainly have time to pull it back down maybe compress the spring in a vise and see if one end compresses more? I was a Diesel engine mechanic for 30 years and am just an Airhead newbie so help me y'all.
Thanks
Tom

Just keep it as is, don't worry.
Ask the Indians what happens when you don't control immigration.
