Just tried to buy 50 of these connectors - $US 91- postage!!!!!

Lamontstamford got a G/S final drive into a $50- USPS flat rate box, so I wonder just how they calculate their $91-!

Jaycar, $4.95 a packet of five. Not cheap for what they are.
Different sizes available.
Do you want me to get you some? I'm guessing Dick Smith would also carry these?
Alternatively, ebay..http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/25-SOLDER-HE ... 51a625a42c

Here's their sales pitch...
These are high quality solder and seal heat shrink butt connectors with an advanced waterproof sealant inside each of the color sleeves (white, red, blue, or yellow - depending on size). Just twist the wires together, center the terminal over the exposed wire, and add heat (SEE PICTURES). This one step operation seals the heat shrink tubing and solders the wires. IDEAL FOR MARINE AND AUTOMOBILE APPLICATIONS. Provides improved pullout strength and strain relief, allows for visual inspection, prevents wire corrosion, and provides a waterproof seal.

I found them in the UK but only one supplier and expensive at £9.55 for 10
Maybe they will get cheaper when they are no longer new technology.
