Real men are can make do with a marginally capable brake in the front and no brake in the back (ie. 1975 R90) and a transmission that shifts like a school bus.

1. It's nice not to have to "make do."

Keep in mind that these bikes are built in Taiwan, not Japan. But they are engineered and built under the supervision of Honda.

But so far I am enjoying mine, as much as you can with it snowing outside. I think by the time I return from Ken's I will have a real idea what this bike is made of.

I've had some of the plastic off to take a look around and make some adjustments and am impressed with the build quality. The only real "cheap" complaint I have is the lack of any adjustment of the suspension and no oil filter. The oil is super easy to change though. Did the first one at 120 km and plan on doing them often.

I plan on cleaning it more often than the recommended 7500mi/12000kms. A magnetic drain plug will be going in there too.
