I suspect I'll be less patient at 81, what with knowing I've got less time to be giving away.melville wrote:WWS is granting a long leash. WWTB is patient, something she's learned in her 81 years.Major Softie wrote:Hasn't the clock about run out?melville wrote:

Don't worry driggs, you are safe as long as the R65 exists.driggs wrote:What the!?....when did the venerable RT bcome the red-headed stepchild of the airhead family?!

Shoot, even I've seen a R65... once, but an R45: NEVER!justoneoftheguys wrote:Don't worry driggs, you are safe as long as the R65 exists.driggs wrote:What the!?....when did the venerable RT bcome the red-headed stepchild of the airhead family?!

Don't worry you're not missing much. If the side cover decals were covered up or absent you wouldn't easily tell the difference between an R65 and R45 as they are all but identical. In the absence of X ray vision to spot the smaller bores the only visible clues for discerning eyes would be speedo and rear drive ratios, the carb model number and the 473 cc inscription on the headstock name plate.Tim Shepherd wrote: Shoot, even I've seen a R65... once, but an R45: NEVER!
Well, there is that I suppose...justoneoftheguys wrote:Don't worry driggs, you are safe as long as the R65 exists.driggs wrote:What the!?....when did the venerable RT bcome the red-headed stepchild of the airhead family?!

I am thinking I need to defend my R65, but I am not sure I am following this properly.justoneoftheguys wrote:Don't worry driggs, you are safe as long as the R65 exists.driggs wrote:What the!?....when did the venerable RT bcome the red-headed stepchild of the airhead family?!

Hmm, that got me thinking. Does a R45 OWN all /2's?Major Softie wrote: Hey it OWNS all R45's!
