And it's REALLY ME!
Whatcha riding these days?
I bought a brand new gas-n-go Honda CBR250R last August for $3995.
They are advertised as being a 70 MPG+ bike, and I am just passed 2000 miles, and I have been struggling to reach 60 MPG.
I don't know if it would make any difference, but I think the dealer filled the oil too full at the initial service.
I changed the oil & filter last week. So far the bike is still running...
And early on I read on the CBR250R forum that when the engine is new you should let it warm up until the first bar on the LED temp guage lights up before taking off. I think that was burning up a lot of gas. Now I start the engine before donning my gloves and then I just baby it until the first bar appears.
I'm doing much better, MPG-wise! 62.9 on my last tank.

I love this little bike. Very stable at 70, which is fast enough to get a ticket where I do most of my riding.
Central air is an aftermarket option.
