Does this mean we have to watch the monkeys in the bar video again?

I have to admit I'm a tad skeptical, but damn, they do come in multiple colors. That's huge!
If only the only the guy had said: Wait there's more, and then offered me some freebies for my friends, that might have sealed the deal.
(Sorry. It's really ME 109's fault, y' know!)

For $5 it'd be worth having in the tool kit.
I know I've used a feeler gauge to tidy up a slight weep from a seal before.

I think ME 109 has multiple nefarious agendas.Ken in Oklahoma wrote:I have to admit I'm a tad skeptical, but damn, they do come in multiple colors. That's huge!

If it's a rip-off, it's only a $5 rip-off. It might be somewhat easier to see what you're doing with an airhead's female-slider fork, and I guess it'd probably be best to follow-up this "fix" with a fork oil change to try to remove any gruck that's pushed down into the slider when first inserting the tool.

if we buy 5 we get them for $3 each, group buy or maybe 1 of each colorKen in Oklahoma wrote:I have to admit I'm a tad skeptical, but damn, they do come in multiple colors. That's huge!

I think there's a reason it's shown being done on a dirt bike without fork boots. I question his statement about finding most seals not actually needing to be replaced in reference to street bikes, but I can certainly see how it might be effective for a bike like we are shown in the video.

They claim to have fixed thousands of leaking fork seals with this tool. If that's the case it's a great simple invention worth risking $5. on.Major Softie wrote:I think there's a reason it's shown being done on a dirt bike without fork boots.
