Krauser latches to frames

Does anyone know if the later Krauser bags with the "hook" type latch will work on a frame originally built for the seat belt latch? I'm assuming the size and shape of the loop is the same, but I may need to grind off the tabs where you bolt the male seat belt latch.

I had a set that worked both ways. I don't think the tabs will interfere.

Same here. My original frames are for the "old Style" and I have the newer bags. In face we have both bags in the garage...the "old" ones are for the '77 R100s that's dressed as an RS.
