Frank's Engineering

Post by Toga »

G'day all,
I desire a new set of stauntions for my '82 RS and Frank's was recommended.
I have made 3 enquiries now using their webside email contact but have had no reply.
Anyone know if they are still operating ? ... or perhaps their website email contact is stuffed...
I would prefer not to call from Oz asking them to check their email

We'll all call them tomorrow (no cost on a cell). If we get an answer, we'll tell them to jump on your email.

If we ALL do it, Frank's will learn to not ever ignore a Boxerworks member again!

I plan to call tomorrow evening before they close.
This could be interesting!

Just ring them Joe , it's not that pricey for a short call from here.

Worth checking the Italien made stanchions available from Webmoto in the UK, a lot cheaper than Motobins and in the UK at least the postage was included in the price. I'm told that they export. UK price was £199 inclusive of 20% tax and delivery.

I wouldn't make a short call Joe, it mightn't reach. :geek:

Apparently they are having some sort of "emergency".

I called today (Thursday) during their business hours, and got a message that due to their emergency, they are closed on Mon, Wed and Fri, and limited hours on Tues and Thurs.

They asked me for a call-back number, but I didn't bother.

Joe, you might call and leave them your number, or at least point them toward their (massively backed-up?) e-mail account.

Yes - but isn't it like 3:00 yesterday afternoon there? When do you call?

That'd be the day before.

Today here, is yesterday there, unless its tomorrow here so that would make it today there.
Of course it can be today here, and there as well. ie, it can be morning here and morning there unless it's early afternoon here which would still be morning there. So, you can easily see now if it was late afternoon here it could be early afternoon there but with consideration given to daylight saving it's most likely late morning.
Anyway, time to got to work. I mean bed.
