R60/7 wireing diagram

Post by JoburgGeordie »

Hey all
I have a wireing diagram for the early /7 model, but mine has an electronic rev counter. Has anyone got a copy of the later model? I need to know which pins on the plug of the " Combined instrument" deal with the rev counter input. I believe it's just one wire from the points side of the coils, but I may be wrong on that one.

I have info from Oak about the '78-on bikes, but he said the '77s require more investigation.

Check this website out:

Look at the 1977 /7 circuit and legend.

It's always a good idea to provide the year and month of manufacture when you ask foior help with something like this.
That said...My old book shows a BLACK wire from the points-side of the coils directly to the Tach.
Check if such a wire exists on your bike...It goes to terminal 10 on the connector.
