This is no way solitation but... To address a concern like yours - the option to have a vetted pro wrench prep a bike for someone to use it would a viable option to many... 300 dollars per use would not be outrageous would it? Covering the 3 hours of prep and change in fluids and rubber as needed.
I always brake in corners and think how I am going to get home if I really mess up. When I get home, I wished that I hadn't used my brakes and should have ridden a bit further.
