Built by Peter Dent of Vancouver. Royal Enfield frame with a Hillman Imp motor.
I'm impressed!

Royal Enfield frame? I guess I haven't been keeping up. The only Royal Enfield frames I know about are the British and India built bikes.Zombie Master wrote:Built by Peter Dent of Vancouver. Royal Enfield frame with a Hillman Imp motor.

Well done but I don't see the point.
Looks like it would be a heavy pig.

I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

I bit of both, along with bits from lots of other bikes.Ken in Oklahoma wrote:Royal Enfield frame? I guess I haven't been keeping up. That looks like Jesse James' (one of my least favorite people) radial engined bike.Garnet wrote: Some people just need something to do.
As a piece of art it succeeds.

Clearly not meant to be ridden, but if it has enough parts to actually ride even a little ways that would be cool. Something like Howard Hugh's Spruce Goose. I would think heat management might be an issue and I wonder if Duane would let me put crash bars on it.Garnet wrote: Some people just need something to do.

What the hell is that big chrome handle looking thing going from under the seat to perhaps the rear peg brace? Is that a pannier frame? Seems like an awfully inelegant solution for a custom.

It looks like a crash bar to me. From what I hear the bike is ridden regularly.Major Softie wrote:What the hell is that big chrome handle looking thing going from under the seat to perhaps the rear peg brace? Is that a pannier frame? Seems like an awfully inelegant solution for a custom.
