Cool and interesting photos, Charlie.

Does it get hard to mount the bike when you have so much leg swinging space taken up by bags?

I have heard (never tried it, myself), that one kicks up their right foot and puts it on the seat, or all the way over, if you are lucky, and then slides on over. It helps to keep yourself limber (not me...).

And something I learned from Scot-with-one-T, was to only stop at fuel pumps that had credit card/self-serv, so he wouldn't have to get off the bike. Then he would stop on the entrance ramp to the highway and enjoy a quick smoke before continuing on.
Don't know what he had to do when he had to pee.

It's pretty easy with practice and Rob's description is good. I've heard people describe it as "threading the needle".
